Excelitas introduces Phoseon VeriCure Lite UV LED curing platform

The New lower-power addition to the VeriCure family targets printing and industrial applications that require less UV output while reducing energy and system costs.

Excelitas introduced at LOUPE Americas 2026 the Phoseon VeriCure Lite Series, expanding its VeriCure UV LED curing platform with a lower-power option for printing, coating and other industrial applications.

VeriCure Lite provides approximately half the UV output of the standard VeriCure system while retaining the same mechanical platform, control capabilities and integration features. The new series is aimed at applications that do not require the higher UV dose of the standard platform, giving manufacturers an additional option based on their curing requirements and operating costs.

The water-cooled system is available with emitting window lengths of 750, 900, 1050, 1200 and 1350 mm, as well as 365, 395 and 405 nm wavelength options. Excelitas says its cooling and UV LED architecture provides irradiance uniformity of better than ±10% across the curing area.

“Manufacturers are increasingly seeking UV curing solutions that balance performance, sustainability, and total cost of ownership,” said Marvin Ruffin, product manager at Excelitas. “The VeriCure Lite Series extends the flexibility of our VeriCure platform by providing an efficient solution for applications that do not require the highest UV dose levels.”

VeriCure Lite supports Analog, Modbus TCP/IP, OmniCure AC Series and Phoseon CLIP communication protocols, allowing integration into new or existing production lines. Segmented control enables operators to customize the irradiation area for irregular substrates and geometries.

According to Excelitas, the system can reduce energy consumption by up to 60% compared with conventional mercury-vapor UV curing. The LED technology also provides instant on/off operation, eliminates consumable lamp replacement and operates without mercury or ozone. The system features IP66-rated construction and is available with an optional secondary protective glass assembly.
